LED floodlight composition and inspection standards

LED floodlights and LED floodlights are often confused. LED floodlights generally have no lens, and the illumination angle is relatively large, generally 120°. The LED floodlight illumination area is relatively large, but the illumination distance is not far. LED floodlights generally have lenses. The angle of light illumination can be determined by the angle of the lens. The illumination area of LED projection is generally not large, but the illumination distance is relatively long.

First, the LED floodlight product components.

1. Tempered glass + reflector + LED integrated light source (COB) + LED power supply + die-cast aluminum housing = LED flood light

1.1, tempered glass.

Process: There are two kinds, one is physical tempering and the other is chemical tempering.

Physical tempering is the processing of ordinary flat glass or float glass under the specified conditions and environment by quenching or air-cooling.

Chemical tempering is a process in which ordinary flat glass or float glass is subjected to ion exchange to change the composition of the surface of the glass to form a laminated stress layer on the surface of the glass.

Good and bad discrimination: check for quality defects such as flatness, no air bubbles, inclusions, scratches, lines and fog spots. Glass with such defects will be deformed during use, reducing the transparency and mechanical strength of the glass. The thermal stability of the glass.

1.2, flood cover

Discrimination method: no deformation, no spin lines, no pinholes, bright surface, no obvious sand holes on the surface, good plating gloss, and uniform plating thickness.

1.3, LED integrated light source

Good or bad identification: whether the chip is required by the microscope (the current large-size chip market is relatively hot, there are Corey, Purui, wafer, etc.), whether the chip size is required for the chip. The chip has square chips, wafers, epitaxial wafers, and flakes, which are confirmed according to the specifications of the LED floodlight manufacturer. The composition of glue, bracket and phosphor also determines the quality of LED products, which are not listed here.

1.4, LED power supply

Good or bad identification: First we need to start from the data. Such as: enough to buy a 50W LED floodlight, and the supplier gives you the product power of 56W or 46W, both NG. Specific items are measured by the standard at the time of purchase. The LED power efficiency conversion rate and power factor determine the quality of the power supply. The better the value, the higher the value. Non-isolated power supply insulation protection is very important. I heard many customers have said that the LED floodlights that have bought some low-end brand products have the feeling of electric shock, and even more outrageous, there are more than 100 volts of leakage.

1.5, die-cast aluminum housing

Good or bad identification: The shell determines whether the heat dissipation of this product is good in the future, and whether the light decay is within the normal range. At present, LED floodlight manufacturers are basically used, and the outsourcing kits are assembled. The heat dissipation problem of the products has never been considered. Some manufacturers are very demanding in terms of aluminum for compression costs, and some waste is used. Because the customer has no way to identify the good or bad of aluminum. The best way to distinguish is through stability testing.

Second, LED floodlights finished product inspection standard method.

1. Brightness check, whether the illumination of the product is one meter away from the product with the illuminance meter is consistent with the data provided by the supplier.

2. Light fading check, the illuminance value is checked regularly every day with the illuminance meter, and the illuminance is within the normal attenuation range.

3. Check the temperature, check the 1mm near the LED integrated light source with a thermometer, test whether the temperature is within 80 degrees, and then test the surface temperature of the LED floodlight with a thermometer, whether it is below 60 degrees. I remember that I attended the exhibition 08 years ago, and customers will always touch the product. I feel that this product is good if I feel that the temperature is not high. After 2008, more and more professional customers will use the illuminometer to test the temperature near the light source. Because they know that surface stability does not mean that this product is good, maybe this product is very poor, because even the heat can not be introduced.

4. Whether the surface of the appearance part is scratched or deformed, and whether there is a fingerprint on the glass. The fingerprint can reflect whether the factory management is strict and the product quality requirements are demanding.

Third, summary.

The product is good or bad, it is your request. Price is only part of the product. A good product is not measured by price, but by value.
